Watched the "Stepbrothers" movie really late that day.

Weird day.

I saw these two dudes, in the Los Feliz area this past Wednesday. One, smoking pot in broad daylight at an intersection, and the other a drunk hanging out the window of a car puking. It was only 3 o'clock? A lil early for vices don't you think?

Masai Warrior illo.

Sketched with crappy crayola markers, and painted with Cartoon colour cell vinyl paints.

This pasr week's art.

LOTR fan art. My takes in different styles on Gandalf the Grey, lol, well, ok, brown or yellow.

My friend Warren Pemberton, a skilled artist, and native american indian, is subject to much light hearted humorous pontifications and illustrations. We all love Warren dearly and are glad he has an even temper and a great sense of humor. I called him one day to see if he could come out and play, but he told me he was at school making macaroni necklaces. So, Jeremy and I imagined an american native tribe that invented macaroni. lol.

A character design that I've always wanted to do. Vampirella.

Jeremy Rusnak, (my best bud and very talented artist from chigago now transplanted here in LA) Jeremy amazes us all with his exceptional memory. And exceptional art skills. This is a rendition of our supervisor Armando, done from memory. OMG.

I admit, here's my hentai. LOL. Blossom from powerpuff girls, as a mature smoldering 30 year old vixen. Wooo!!! Powerpuff Milfs!!! (hehe, perv)

On my way up to friend Robert Iza's apartment, a group of four Mexican women, two adults and two of elementary school age, completely stopped what they were doing and stared at me in unison. Their gaze never broke, and as I passed them, I couldn't help but chuckle and think, "the children of the corn-tortilla." LOL

An awesome haunt of the universal caricature gang, Tonga hut in NoHo, has a 7 foot tall easter island head. Awesome huh?

I didn't want to waist paint, so I crapped this out. Heheh. I 20's flapper girl.

These were some lil sketches for a new take on the Wizard of Oz. Dorothy is just an imaginative lil girl, and the rest fo the cast of characters are merely alley cats and debri from the alley. Whatcha think? I'll post more.

This is just some cheesy 80's dude.

This week's stuff!!!!

This was fun. My buddy Jeremy Rusnak and I doing some fun character design stuff while at the caricature stand. We set out to design a lobster boy!

Some Jaguar studies.

Some random character designs. Heman and some pirates.

Also a retake on the an old show piece, "The usual suspects" originally the breath of paintings featured animals that raid urban trash cans. Possums, alley cats, bears and such. This was the bear. Originally it was carrying a trash can. I made this one an ice bear.

Some retakes on some paintings from Previous shows. These were two of my favorite lil paintings. The Hellboy was for the "let them eat pancakes" show at uberbot gallery in florida. I don't know if the paintings sold or not, i haven't heard from the gallery? I painted this one for myself. I'm gonna hang it up at my place somewhere. The lil mummy was also a fav of mine and my ex girlfriend. I painted it for her because the original was sold to some lucky person. She really wanted it, but never made it in time to buy it. (Am i the nicest ex boyfriend or what?)

My first attempt at painting with cell vinyls. A lil study inspired by all that stuff out there that i absolutely love!!!

Damian, a once co-worker truly missed. He totally looks like that black tiger from the 80's movie Beast master! Also, Sam, of big sam art blog, totally looks like Rafikki from lion king. lol, and a lady friend that accompanied them both, well, she looked like a giraffe to me.
Man, that was so fun. Friday the 6th, it rained all day, so Sam and I were supposed to work at the citywalk airbrush stand, well, the rain made us close up. We tried to wait out the rain by hanging out at the Bubba gump's across the way. Well, it was nice to sit and draw in our sketchbooks for like 8 hours and get paid for it. I love my job.

A blast from the past.

Hanging out last night with independent comic publishers Bernyce Tally and friends. A quick lil memory sketch of Bernyce and her lil red dress.
